INSPIRED BY: DRESS AS A BLOUSE

9:11 am

Hi everyone!  The hubs noticed this graffiti wall near Whyte Avenue a little while ago and we have been wanting to use it as a back drop for some time.  I really love the colors in the artwork and flashes of neon.  It's an interesting depiction of our little city and I wanted something equally interesting and colorful to go with it!

Lately I have been trying to limit myself to buying things I either LOVE and have to have or things that I find unique and intriguing in some way.  Both criteria definitely applied to this blouse (which is actually a dress). You have to understand that my wardrobe is larger than the average already and this is after 2 or 3 pretty major purges I have done over the last year or so.  I have basically commandeered all the closet space in our apartment, moved off season items into storage bins, and still had to move all my husband's clothes into a dresser with the exception of his dress shirts which he is "allowed" to hang in "my" closet.  In return he has set his own criteria for my shopping:
1. Do I need it?
2. Do I have anything else like it?
3. Is it on sale?

"Do I need it" is really a silly question and open for interpretation in my opinion!  I "need" to wear clothes!  I definitely didn't have anything else like it though and it did happen to be on sale.  Two out of three isn't bad - right?  And voila!  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    1. Thanks Andrea! It's around Whyte and Gateway in the alley there. There are a couple other ones there too I think.
