INSPIRED BY: ON THE HIGH STREET - PASTELS & FEDORAS

9:08 am

The city is basically a series of potholes strung together so that's got to mean something right?  Could it be spring is on the way?  Not likely since there is a chance of snow flurries the next few days but one can hope.

While things are looking up though, I am still taking every opportunity to incorporate color into my clothes starting with these lavender jeans I picked up at GAP a little while ago!  Lavender is and always has been one of my favorite colors!  Unfortunately it's not usually one that is very common in clothing, although with the pastel trend going on right now that may not be the case this season.

Since neither of us were in the mood for cooking last night, the Hubs and I decided to go out for dinner and on the way stopped by the High Street area for some quick photos.  High Street is one of my favorite little shopping areas in the city.  It reminds me of a smaller version of Kerrisdale in Vancouver for anyone who may know what that area is like.

It's a great place to spend an afternoon toodling around the little shops and restaurants.  I highly recommend it if you have some free time this weekend, but whatever you decide to do I hope you all have a great one!

Thanks so much for visiting!
