INSPIRED BY: PARTY DRESSES AND HIDDEN PRINTS

7:00 am

For the last little while I just can't seem to get enough of the fit and flare silhouette that seems to be becoming so popular again.  Something about the shape reminds of the party dresses I wore as a child.  So when I saw this dress at Zara recently I just had to have it!

Ok that's not entirely true.  I wanted it and my sister insisted that I should get it while I tried to be frugal and talk myself out of it.  I went home empty handed only to pay a visit to Zara.com the next day because I just couldn't pass it up!  The dress is a classic fit and flare shape that is so girlish, but the same time it's backless which is that perfect juxtaposition of sweet and edgy that I adore.  Also up close it's actually a tiny leopard print!  So cute!  I thought I'd continue with the idea of contrasting ideas by adding a spike necklace and some simple pumps in an unexpected color.

The thing I love about this dress is that it has so many possibilities.  This look is great for a night out, but I could just as easily throw on some flats and a jean jacket for a more casual day around town.  I can't wait to try out the other options!

Thanks so much for visiting and of course thanks to the hubs for his photography!  Hope you all have an amazing week ahead!
