INSPIRED BY: COLLABORATION - 3.1 PHILLIP LIM FOR TARGET

7:00 am

So a few weeks ago women across Canada and the US went into a shopping frenzy for the release of Target's latest designer collboration, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target, and of course I was one of them!  Sadly I was not able to snag one of the coveted bags, but I figure that just gives me a reason to get a real one one day right?  Especially since the reason I didn't line up at the crack of dawn (ok it was 8 am) on a Sunday is because I was picking the hubs up from a stag at 1:30 am the night before.  Sounds fair to me:)!  I did manage to snag a few other pieces though, with this printed peplum top among them, and can't wait to wear them!

This top was one of those pieces I often pick up and am not entirely certain about, but as soon as I put it on I had to have it!  Plus the hubs commented that it accentuates my "puniness" which he followed up by assuring me that was a good thing so how could I pass it up?!  LOL!

The dust had barely settled from the stampede for Phillip Lim before Target announced its next designer collaboration with Peter Pilotto!  Let's just say the hubs better be ready to stand in line for this one!  Can't wait to see what they come up with!

On another note I have some exciting news ahead for the blog!  Stay tuned for my next post!

Thanks for reading and thanks to hubs for the photography and the "compliment"!

  4. I'm so sad that all the Edmonton Target's were picked over in terms of the Philip Lim stuff before I made it there - I loved some of the pieces.
